Verses for Blessing Your Chicken Coop

Whenever we build something in my family I like to hide scripture. I have bible verses written on the header to my powder room, on the subfloor in my master bedroom, and under tables my husband refinished. It gives me comfort to know that they are there. We recently built a chicken coop, and I am continuing this tradition by writing a bible verse inside the coop.

Below you will find a list of bible verses to put in your chicken coop.

Where to put the Bible Verse

I chose to put the Bible Verse on the inside of the coop, in a place that I would see when I was cleaning it out. I often forget that I have hidden scripture in different places. It is a nice surprise to find reminders of God’s Word that I have left for myself. Other places to put your scripture:

  • on the bottom of the nesting boxes

  • on the inside of your collection door

  • over the door to your run

  • on the inside of the door frame

  • on a cute sign inside the coop

  • painted large on the side of the coop
